A local youth organization is inviting parents and adults in the area to a day of holiday activities raising money for the local United Way branch.
Connect Youth, a Prescott-based charity that supports struggling teens and kids in the Leeds-Grenville region with things like housing and after-school programs, is running an event called “United Day” to raise money for the organization.
According to staff members, the event will cost $15 to take part in, and feature things like holiday ornament decorating, recreation activities like ping pong and pickleball, and lunch for everyone that attends.
All the proceeds will go towards United Way of Leeds and Grenville, which supports a wide variety of local charities and nonprofits.
It’s happening Monday, December 12th, from 10:00 in the morning until 3:00 in the afternoon, at Stingers Indoor Paintball in Brockville. You can find more details on Connect Youth’s social media pages.
