Police are asking Prescott residents to be vigilant of any suspicious activity in their neighbourhoods.
Grenville County OPP investigated a report of a break-in on Development Drive in the Town of Prescott on Monday around 7:00am.
Police say vehicles connected with a business appear to have been broken into shortly after midnight on Sunday. Further investigation found the culprit(s) entered numerous vans parked on site. Approximately $40,000 worth of tools, copper wire and machinery, along with a van that was later recovered, had been stolen.
Officers continue the investigation.
