A 44-year-old man is facing charges after fleeing from police. Brockville Police officers noticed a 12-foot enclosed trailer being towed on a downtown street last week. The trailer was reported stolen earlier in the day.
Officers tried to pull the vehicle over, but it didn’t stop and a short pursuit began. The driver hit a pole during the chase. Police say the driver ended up stopping and fleeing from the vehicle.
Brockville’s K9 Diesel tracked and located the suspect.
The man is charged with obtaining property by crime, flight from police, dangerous driving and failing to stop at the scene of a collision.
