A Jasper-area greenhouse has won the Premier’s Award for Agri-Food Innovation Excellence. Bluegrass Farm of Elizabethtown-Kitley uses radiant heat in their greenhouses to extend the growing season.
Their fresh, certified organic vegetables are available from October to March. Bluegrass Farm sells a variety of salad greens to restaurants and food stores in Perth, Ottawa and Leeds Grenville.
