The St. Lawrence News is closing.
Postmedia announced on Monday that, through a deal with Torstar, they would be swapping more than 40 community newspapers and that most would be shut down. One of the publications Postmedia will be taking over is St. Lawrence News, but according to the company the only papers they intent to keep running are the Exeter Times-Advocate and the Exeter Weekender.
Some of the other papers nearby slated for closure include the Ottawa South News and Barhaven/Nepean News.
