The OPP have released the results of a search warrant executed in Cardinal.
On October 30th at approximately 11:45am members of the OPP Community Street Crime team and the OPP Emergency Response Team searched an apartment in the Village of Cardinal. During the search police arrested two people and found a number of illegal drugs.
As a result a 30-year-old woman has been charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking in crack cocaine, cocaine, heroin, crystal meth and speed, as well as possession of over 3KG of a schedule II substance for the purpose of trafficking. A 30-year-old man has been charged with the same, with the addition of failure to comply with a probation order.
The male was held for Bail court and the woman is set to appear before the Brockville Ontario Court of Justice in early December.
