The Town of Prescott has a fun way to clean up after Halloween.
In an attempt to avoid the unsightly trend of rotting or smashed Jack-o-lanterns that often follow Halloween the town has set up a pumpkin parade. Residents can apply to have their pumpkins picked up today, if they live within town limits. The pumpkins will be taken to River Walk Park and put on display from 6:00pm until 8:00pm. After the display finishes the town will take all the pumpkins to be composted.
