Town of Prescott accepting Community Grant submissions

The Town of Prescott is now accepting submissions for Community Grants.

These grants are intended to support non-profit organisations that serve residents of the town and the application form is available on the town’s website. Types of initiative that could be funded include: one-time funding related to specific projects that benefit the town, programs intended to enhance organisational effectiveness like internal training programs or equipment needs, community events and the delivery of not for profit services or programs.

To be eligible for a grant groups must be a registered charity with the Canada Revenue Agency or an organized, unincorporated, non-profit organization. They must also be governed by a volunteer board or executive committee of five or more, provide services to residents of the Town of Prescott and have sources of funding outside of this grant.

Flow through funding, religious or political initiatives and debt retirement, depreciation, retroactive or deficit funding will not be considered for the grant. All applications must be submitted by 3:00pm on December 1st to be considered. Applications can be submitted to Nancy Lavallee by faxing 613-925-4381, emailing [email protected] or dropping a physical copy of at town hall.
