Tonight is your first chance to help raise money for a splash pad in Prescott.
The first fundraiser is going to be a paint night at the Red George Pub. The event starts at 6:30pm and costs $40 to attend. Participants will spend the evening painting and socialising before taking their painting home with them at the end of the night.
Councillor Leanne Burton says they’re still not sure how much the splash pad will cost. Different types of pad, with different attachments, cost varying amounts. They plan to make an educated decision once all the funds have been raised.
