The Municipality of North Grenville has been successful in securing funding for their business case study on the future of Kemptville College. CAO Brian Carre announced Monday night that the latest funding comes from Grenville Community Futures Development Corporation, in partnership with the Eastern Ontario Development Program.
In order to secure this $112,500 in funding, the Municipality had to enter into a contribution agreement with GCFDC. Additional funding has been provided by the Province and the Municipality, for a total of over $225,000.
The business case study has to be completed before the non-profit organization can be formed, to operate the new programs at the college.
