The United Counties of Leeds and Grenville have released an update on the County Road 26 closure.
In an updated press release the United Counties says constructions on the Robinson Culvert will begin October 12th. As a result a stretch of County Road 26 that runs between Merwin Lane and Blue Church Road will be closed to traffic from Thursday October 12th at 7:00am until Wednesday October 18th at 7:00pm.
During the week that follows, from October 19th until October 25th, there will be single lane closures in place at the construction site. The United Counties add that the culvert being replaced is 100 metres east of the dump entrance. Residents on the west side will therefore have access to the dump but people living on the east side will have to use the detour.
