Only one game on the schedule for the South Grenville Rangers this weekend but it’s a big one.
Saturday at 7:30pm South Grenville will welcome the Papineau Vikings to the Leo for the franchise’s first ever home game. The team will look to even their record at 2-2 against the red hot Vikings. After dropping their second game of the season to the undefeated Gatineau Hull-Volant the Vikings have won three straight headed into the weekend.
Papineau have relied on a high powered offence this season with 27 goals in their first five games. They also boast the league’s three highest scoring players. Justin Labrosse and Jacob Osbourne both sit atop the league’s point standings with ten points each, while Danny Plourde-Grenon is in third with eight.
Puck drop is Saturday at 7:30pm in the Leo Boivin Community Centre in Prescott.
