The Brockville Police Association will be playing host to the Fall Quarterly Civilian Conference of the Police Association of Canada.
The conference runs from October 1st to the 3rd at the Brockville Convention Centre on Kent Boulevard. There will be presentations on Monday including talks from Brockville Police Chaplain Jonathon Zinck about job related stress and trauma, the Brockville Community Outreach Program and The Cornwall Police Association talking about community involvement. Participants will also receive updates about ongoing discussions about amending the Police Service Act from Police Association of Ontario President Bruce Chapman.
Participants on Tuesday will hear from the Niagara Regional Police Association on Performance Improvement Plans. This will be followed with a round table discussion on topics of interest that have come up across the province.
