Two South Dundas residents are facing drug charges after police raided a residence.
On Monday members of the Stormont Dundas and Glengarry OPP, along with the Community Street Crime Unit and Organized Crime Enforcement Bureau, executed a Controlled Drugs and Substances Search Warrant on a Dundas Street residence in South Dundas.
While executing the warrant police found a large quantity of marijuana. Further investigation revealed the male was on probation. As a result a 43-year-old man was charged with possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking and four counts of breach of probation. An 18-year-old woman who was also in the residence was charged with possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking.
She was later released with a future court date and he was held in custody pending a bail hearing.
