The deadline to put a nomination forward for the 2017 Bill Thake Memorial Award for Economic Development Leadership is looming.
The award is handed out in November at the annual Leeds Grenville Economic Development Summit. This year the event is set for Friday, November 17th.
The award was first introduced in 2011 and is also known as the Warden’s Award. It recognizes a volunteer who has shown outstanding commitment and leadership resulting in the growth and vitality of the Leeds Grenville economy.
Nominees must be from Leeds and Grenville. The deadline to apply is this Friday.
You can find a nomination form through the summit’s 2017 page here.
Last year’s winner was North Grenville resident Robert Noseworthy.
