The Township of Edwardsburgh/Cardinal has presented the Citizen of the Year award to James Grant.
Mr. Grant, a resident of Cardinal, has been an active member of the fire department since 1966, in the roles of Fire Chief and Treasurer. He has coordinated several gospel concert fundraisers for the fire department and his local United Church.
The award was presented to Mr. Grant at Monday’s council meeting.
