A man has been arrested for breaching probation after an argument on Church Street.
Brockville Police say just before 1:30am they were called to the Church Street and Clarissa area because residents could hear two people fighting on the street. When officers arrived they found a 21-year-old man arguing with his 19-year-old girlfriend, both of whom were already known to police.
Officers confirmed that the man was on probation, with the condition he not communicate with the young woman, after a July 3rd arrest for domestic assault. This case is still before the courts. The man was arrested for breaching the terms of his release and held in custody pending a bail hearing today.
