CCGS Tracy floats on

A staple of the Prescott shore line is off on another adventure.

On Friday the CCGS Tracy left the Prescott Coast Guard dock after being sold to Groupe Ocean. The former Coast Guard vessel was built between 1967-68 and taken out of service in 2013. After spending four years at the Prescott Coast Guard dock the ship was put up for auction during the spring of 2017.

The ship was sold to Groupe Ocean for just less than $375,000 and renamed the Ocean Tracy. Two ships from the Groupe Ocean fleet were on hand to escort the ship up the St. Lawrence.
