A second fatal collision is keeping Highway 401 eastbound closed near Ingleside.
The OPP says that a passenger vehicle collided with an eastbound tractor trailer just after noon today.
The man driving the passenger vehicle was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the tractor trailer wasn’t injured in the incident.
The OPP says a section of Highway 401 from Brookdale Avenue to Upper Canada Road is closed to traffic on the eastbound side.
The OPP says that due to an earlier fatal crash involving three transports, the closure will remain in place for an extended period of time and delays on Highway 2 are expected due to construction at Long Sault.
