The OPP have made an arrest following a single car crash.
This morning just after midnight the OPP say they responded to a single vehicle collision in Front of Yonge Township westbound on the 401. The vehicle was reportedly heading east when the driver lost control and rolled several times into the westbound lane. The driver was transported to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
According to the OPP further investigation revealed the driver was under the influence of alcohol at the time of the crash. The 22-year-old accused from South Stormont Township was charged with impaired driving and operating a motor vehicle with over 80 mgs of alcohol in the blood stream.
The OPP want to remind the public to always report impaired drivers like they would any crime.
