Brockville Police have announced a resurgence of fake bills in the city.
According to a press release yesterday police have received a number of complaints from the public about fake $100 bills. Police say the money actually has Chinese writing on it.
If you come across a bill you believe is fake, keep the bank note and any relevant information about the person who used it to pay. If you believe you have counterfeit money the next step is contacting your local police. Officers will take the bill from you and give you a receipt; if the bill is real it will be returned.
