Nominations for the 2017 Bill Thake Memorial Award for Economic Development Leadership are being accepted.
The award is handed out in November at the annual Leeds Grenville Economic Development Summit. This year it will be held on Friday, November 17th.
The award was first introduced in 2011 and is also known as the Warden’s Award. It recognizes a volunteer who has shown outstanding commitment and leadership resulting in the growth and vitality of the Leeds Grenville economy.
Nominees must be from Leeds and Grenville. The deadline to apply is Friday, September 29th. You can find a nomination form through the summit’s 2017 page.
Last year’s winner was North Grenville resident Robert Noseworthy.
