A 60 year tradition will continue in Prescott this fall.
On September 12th the Royal Air Cadets 661 Lieutenant W.F. Sharpe Squadron will have its first meeting of the fall. Members of the public between the ages of 12 and 18 are encouraged to go out and join the squadron. According to the squadron cadets can expect to take part in orienteering, biathlon, marksmanship, sports competitions and, of course, aviation training.
Cadets can earn summer training opportunities through the squadron and senior cadets could even find summer employment opportunities. Meetings are on Tuesday evenings at South Grenville District High School and the first one will be held on September 12th.
