A trailer that was stolen earlier this month has been found.
On August 8th the OPP answered a call that a utility trailer had been taken from a property on County Road 2 in South Stormont Township. The investigation concluded a 2008 Roadmaster RMU Black Utility trailer, containing assorted power tools, had been stolen.
The OPP announced today that on August 12th members of Stormont Dundas and Glengarry OPP executed a search warrant on a residence on 6th Street West in Cornwall. This warrant resulted in the recovery of the stolen trailer and various power tools. A 22-year-old man, 40 year-old-woman and 49 year-old-man are now facing two charges of possession of property obtained by crime. Both men are also facing an unauthorized possession of a weapon charge.
All three will appear in court this September.
