Charges laid in pellet gun incident

A Brockville man is facing a number of charges after an incident involving a pellet gun.

Brockville Police say on August 16th they received a call at 6:40am about an altercation in the South end of town. The victim was dropping a friend off at their boyfriend’s apartment when he was confronted by the boyfriend. According to the police the boyfriend yelled death threats at the victim and shot him multiple times with a CO2 pellet gun.

The 20-year-old accused was found and charged after the incident was reported to them. The police say they charged the 20-year-old with assault, uttering a death threat, using an imitation firearm as well as four counts of breaching probation and a count of breach of undertaking. The accused was held in custody pending a bail hearing.
