The Town of Prescott has entered into a contract with a municipal engineering company.
At this week’s Prescott Town Council meeting the Mayor and council voted to extend a contract for Professional Municipal Engineering Services to EVB based in Cornwall. The contract has a three year term, with an option to extend the terms for another two.
On July 13th the town requested proposals from five engineering firms and when the deadline closed they had received proposals from Stantec, WSP and EVB. By locking the town into a contract the hope is it will create a consistent approach to project design, costing and management over the next three years.
This motion passed unanimously.
