A Brockville man is awaiting bail after being charged in relation to a domestic incident.
Brockville Police say they were called to a Church Street residence on Tuesday at approximately 4:40pm. The complainant told the attending officers the 28-year-old female victim and accused share two children but are separated. While visiting the Church Street home and helping with the children the victim and accused got into a verbal argument. According to police the incident escalated into a minor physical altercation in front of the children.
The man had left the residence before police arrived but he was located shortly after. Police arrested the man and charged him with domestic assault. The 32-year-old accused was held overnight at Brockville Police Services pending a bail hearing.
