Brockville Police are asking for the public’s help identifying the people, or person, responsible for vandalizing a number of public spaces this weekend.
According to police they were alerted to the vandalism after the City of Brockville’s Public Works department contacted them. The call said an unknown person had used a large marker to write “TEZ” in the washrooms at the splash pad, Hardy Park, the Public Harbour at Blockhouse, Centeen Park and inside the newly renovated Railway Tunnel.
Police say they hope a member of the public will recognize the marking and contact them. Anyone with information is encouraged to call Brockville Police Services at 613-342-0127. Tips can also be submitted anonymously to Crime Stoppers at either 1-800-222-8477 or online at www.tipsubmit.com.
