The OPP has seized over $300,000 in contraband after a drug bust in Spencerville.
According to Grenville County OPP the bust took place around 10:00am on August 11th. The Street Crime Unit and the OPP Emergency Response team executed a Controlled Drugs and Substances Act search warrant at a Crowder Road residence in Edwardsburgh Township. The OPP say they seized a large quantity of what they suspected to be marijuana, marijuana plants, cannabis resin and growing equipment.
A 65-year-old male was arrested and charged. Police estimate the street value of all the contraband is over $350,000. The accused was released with a future court date.
