The agenda for this month’s Prescott Town Council meeting has been released.
On Wednesday at 6:30pm Mayor Brett Todd, councillors and town staff will meet for the August Town Council meeting. The meeting should be a busy one with 11 motions scheduled to be forwarded during the meeting. The first motion on the agenda at the meeting is reviewing the Financial Operating Budget, Capital Budget, Reserve Funds and Long-Term Debt Reports for June 30th, 2017.
The council is also expected to endorse changes to the town’s insurance coverage, adopt new criteria for allocating the municipal health unit levy, formally approve Rubber Road installation at the Marina and accept a submission in preparation of the Town of Prescott Recreation Master Plan, to name just a few.
Mayor Todd is also scheduled to make a proclamation about Prostate Cancer Awareness Month being September.
