A woman is facing charges after a concerned citizen called police.
Police say at 11:45 Sunday night an anonymous caller identified the 26-year-old woman who was driving a blue Hyundai down south on Stewart Street and told police she was under the influence of alcohol. Officers found the vehicle as it was pulling up to a Victoria Avenue address and performed a traffic stop.
According to police the officers on the scene smelled alcohol on the driver’s breath. Police say they then asked the woman to provide a breath sample several times and she refused. As a result police charged the woman with refusing to provide a breath sample and released her with a future court date.
