Domestic Disturbance results in double arrest

A domestic disturbance call resulted in police laying charges against both parties involved.

According to Brockville Police they responded to the Glenn Woods apartment after receiving calls about an argument in one of the units. When officers reached the apartment door they were refused entry and the door was barricaded with a chair. They were eventually able to gain entry and ensured the safety of the people inside.

Once inside police say they found a 51-year-old Brockville woman who was wanted on outstanding warrants by Brockville Police and a 49-year-old Brockville man. The man was out on bail and one of his conditions was not being inside his residence.

Both were arrested and held at the Brockville Police Service pending a bail hearing yesterday.
