Leeds OPP is continuing their investigation into a fatal crash.
According to the OPP at around 11:00pm on July 21st they were called to a motor vehicle collision on Highway 401 near Mallorytown. Their investigation determined a westbound car left the highway, crossed the median and collided with an eastbound tractor-trailer.
The 85-year-old driver of the car was declared deceased at the scene. Traffic was closed both directions so police could investigate and the investigation is ongoing.
