Durham to receive unique housing support

Ontario is investing up to $266,000 over the next two years in a unique housing project for adults with developmental disabilities. The project is located in Durham, Leeds and Grenville. The project, led by the Durham Association for Family Respite Services, will help people with developmental disabilities and their families as they deal with community resources like banks and realtors. It will also help them build networks of support to find housing. Local partners include the Brockville Association for Community Involvement, Community Involvement Legacy Homes and Intentionally Built Community.

This project was selected by the Developmental Services Housing Task Force to help expand the range of housing options and choices for adults with developmental disabilities in Ontario.
