The Brockville Police are looking for the person or people who rescued a kitten on Parkedale Avenue.
Police say they are aware of accounts on social media of a young kitten being abandoned near their station on Parkedale Avenue but add this incident was never reported to police.
Posts of social media that have been forwarded to Brockville Police say the kitten was abandoned from a car while driving on Parkedale Avenue. Police say a vehicle following stopped and picked the cat up before reportedly dropping it off at a shelter for care. According to the posts the vehicle has a dash camera video of the entire incident.
Officers are now asking to speak with whoever rescued the kitten and has video of what took place. Anyone with information is asked to contact Brockville Police Services at 613-342-0127.
