A man has been charged with assault with a weapon following a fight in public.
Brockville Police were called to a home on Perth Street on the morning of June 5th after receiving reports of a fight. Police say they were told the altercation involved two men and it was getting out of hand.
Police say one man hit the other with a child’s scooter. Police say the 39-year-old suspect also used a shovel to damage a vehicle.
The man was arrested and is charged with assault with a weapon and mischief under 5000 dollars. He has been released on a promise to appear at a future court date.
