Update 2: Two motorcycle riders have been seriously injured following a collision on County Road 2 in Augusta Township.
At around 7:00am on Sunday June 4th the Grenville County OPP responded to reports of the motorcycle collision.
When police arrived they discovered the aftermath of a crash between a motorcycle, driven by a 58-year-old Brockville man, and a deer. Â Both the driver and his 58-year-old female passenger sustained serious injuries during the crash.
The OPP Technical Traffic Collision Investigators attended the location to further investigate the scene.
Update 1: The road has reopened.
A collision has forced OPP to close County Road 2 between Maitland Road and Blue Church Road.
The OPP says the road is closed in both directions.
No other details are being released at this time. Please avoid the area and find another way around.
