Over one hundred people came out for last week’s meeting hosted by Leeds Grenville MPP Steve Clark and the public group, Hydro One Not for Sale. Clark says the crowd heard from the financial accountability officer at the gathering.
Today in the Ontario legislature, Clark will be presenting the petition that was signed by attendants of his Hydro One Not For Sale meeting last week.
He says the Opposition will keep speaking up for constituents who have spoken out against the sale, in the hope that the Wynne government will change its course on the decision.
Fifteen percent of Hydro One has already been put up on the TSE, but Clark says it isn’t too late to turn that around.
