The OPP is offering a $50,000 reward to anyone who comes forward with information to help solve the nine-year-old case of a missing man.
65-year-old Calvin Vanness went missing from Belleville back on March 31st, 2008, with police finding his car days later at a garage in Kingston.
Sergeant Angie Atkinson says the police have found evidence over the years that points to Vanness’s disappearance as the result of a homicide. Police have not found the body yet, and are now asking the public to help bring closure to his family.
The reward is available to anyone who has information that leads directly to an arrest or a conviction.
