With March being fraud prevention month, the Brockville Police are letting the public know about a water inspection scam in the area.
Police say they have received a number of calls from residents about a company wanting to inspect their water systems.
Brockville’s chief operator of water systems confirmed that no such inspections were taking place at this time, outing the scam.
Police encourage every resident to turn away any inspection they did not request themselves.
