Leeds-Grenville MP Gord Brown says more taxes are coming but that’s about it for Leeds and Grenville in this year’s federal budget.
The Liberals unveiled the 2017 budget yesterday afternoon. There was no new spending announced in this year’s budget, only items that had been previously announced including investing in housing and adding childcare spaces.
Brown says that in addition to increasing E.I. premiums and adding extra taxes on cigarettes and alcohol, he sees no help coming to Leeds and Grenville.
Brown also says the government has done nothing to reduce the deficit either.
