Brockville General Hospital is planning a major redevelopment, and is asking for funding help from the City of Brockville.
BGH is asking for $4.7-million to help build a new five-floor wing on Charles Street.
The entire project is slated to cost $162-million, with the Ontario Ministry of Health picking up $144-million, and the Hospital Foundation adding another $10-million.
The addition would create 22 extra beds and allow BGH to relocate all their services to one campus.
The project is scheduled for completion in the Fall of 2020.
