Brockville General Hospital has declared an end to their enteric outbreak that contaminated their East 1 and East 2 units.
The outbreak was first declared last Monday, and was called off yesterday afternoon.
The hospital says there has been no new signs of symptoms in patients for five days, allowing them to lift the outbreak protocol, as per guidelines set out by the Leeds, Grenville, and Lanark District Health Unit.
BGH still encourages regular hand washing, especially before eat, as there is still airborne and intestinal bacteria in the community.
