South Grenville Legions invite the communities to remember on November 11th

The communities of South Grenville are getting ready to recognize those who have served and those who continue to serve, in Remembrance Day ceremonies.

In Prescott, the parade will leave Fort Wellington Branch 97 at 10:40am and march to the cenotaph for our annual Remembrance Day Service at 11:00 a.m. The public is invited to attend the service and head to the Legion afterwards. In Spencerville, Legion Members will march to the United Church for a service at 10am followed by the cenotaph service starting at 10:50 am. Everyone is invited to attend a Pot Luck Luncheon at the Legion following the morning events.

In Cardinal, students will march with veterans to the cenotaph. The wreath-laying begins around 10:45am. All are welcome to gather at RCL branch 105 afterwards. In Augusta, Remembrance Day ceremonies will take place in Maynard.
