Warrant out for man in breach of parole; may be near Ottawa

The Repeat Offender Parole Enforcement (ROPE) Squad is requesting the public’s assistance in locating a federal offender wanted on a Canada Wide Warrant as result of a breach of Parole.

Matthew Land is described as an Aboriginal male, 33 years of age, 6’, 190 lbs. He has short black hair and brown eyes (see photo).

Land is serving a sentence for Break and Enter, Possession of Break and Enter Tools, Possession of Property Obtained by Crime and Possession of a Schedule I/II Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking.

He also has a history of violence including a manslaughter conviction.

The offender is known to frequent the city of Ottawa.
