Environment Canada has issued a special weather statement for Prescott.
The weather agency says the area can expect five to 10 centimetres snow tonight into tomorrow.
Although Christmas Day should be calm, stormy and very mild weather can be expected on Boxing Day.
It will likely start with freezing rain, and turn into rain throughout the day.
