Local United Way loses long-time member

After 17 years of service, Crystal Sled is calling it a career with the United Way of Leeds & Grenville.

Ms Sled has been instrumental in her role as Resource Development Coordinator and helped develop many of the annual events put on throughout the area each year; such as the former Hockey Night in Leeds & Grenville. 

While no reason was provided for her departure from the organization Ms Sled’s last day was yesterday and in an email to media, she thanked the community saying quote “I appreciate having had this wonderful opportunity to help grow and build this amazing organization”
