It appears to be a light night ahead at tonight’s Committee of the Whole meeting.
Continued budget talks will take place, which have gone over smoothly in previous meetings.
The Committee of the Whole will also look to split into two working groups.
Three members will be looked to in order to select Prescott’s citizen of the year and volunteer of the year. Nominees are being sought for people who have made significant contributions to the town of Prescott. The deadline for submissions has been extended to January 31st, 2017.
Three other members will be looking to join the Loyalist Days planning group for the upcoming year. Event dates for that are set for August 17th to 20th.
