A driver from Virgil, Ontario tried to get away with drunk driving.
On Tuesday night, the 30-year-old man tried to leave a north end eatery in Brockville after having too much to drink.
He told the employees that he was calling a cab, but was then seen driving out of the parking lot, at which point police was called.
After tracking down the vehicle, Brockville Police discovered the driver had almost twice the legal limit in his system.
The man was arrested and his licence has now been suspended for 90 days.
