Edwardsburgh/Cardinal Deputy Mayor Peggy Taylor says she is all for trying to attract new business to the area but feels we need to work on the retention and expansion of existing businesses as well. She addressed the three South Grenville councils at the Economic Development Summit last week.
Taylor says a BR&E will provide information on what local businesses would like to see continue, what they would like to change, and what is hampering their growth and development.
Taylor suggested the Chamber of Commerce or another business group might be ideal to launch the local BR&E Alliance.
